Or should it be big brother?
Sometimes when we put Zachary up next to Evangeline, or when I see them in pictures, they look like the same size!
I was going through a lot of baby clothes and baby gear that we are either selling or giving away and got very sentimental as I was setting aside a several outfits from each little one that I want to keep, to remember that my rapidly-growing babies were once tiny little newborns.
I am just starting to see some hints of fighting between them, primarily because Evangeline is getting angry when she finds one of 'her' toys in Zach's mouth, covered in drool! I'm trying to instill the concept into her that nothing is hers. She has some 'special' toys that she doesn't have to share (like her blankie and Buzz Lightyear, etc..) but other than that everything is shared.
Tough concept for a two year old, but we'll get there!
Thankfully, most of the time she loves to take care of him, kiss him, hold him, sing to him and smile at him. She, like Jon and I, has started calling him "Zachy Boy"...pretty cute!
Seeing Evangeline in a new role, as a sister, has made me fall in love with her all over again. I know that having two babes so close in age will lead to some bickering, but I am praying that this girl I love so much and this boy I love so much, will love each other, too.

I have to say, though...when you said something about Z being a "big brother", my heart stopped beating for a minute....in a matter of milliseconds, I thought to myself, "Zachary is going to be a big brother? Kir is pregnant and I'm finding out ON HER BLOG?" After those milliseconds, I was able to compose myself and continue reading. =)
Anyway, LOVE the photos...sometimes Meredith and Shane look similar size in photos as well. Oh wait, they pretty much are similar size....ha!
